Pietari Posti is a Finnish illustrator based in Barcelona, known for his vibrant and sophisticated style that combines bold shapes with clean compositions. His work has been featured in international publications such as The New York Times, The Guardian, Wired, and The Washington Post, and he has collaborated with brands such as Apple, Nespresso, Starbucks, Random House, and Omega.
Born in Helsinki, Pietari grew up fascinated by classic comics such as Asterix and Tintin, which led him to study graphic design at Lahti Polytechnic. During his studies, he began illustrating for magazines and newspapers, and after graduating, he moved to Barcelona to found Studio Posti, his own creative studio specializing in illustration and imagery.
His distinctive style has earned him numerous accolades, including the Victoria & Albert Museum's Best Book Cover Illustration award in 2014 for his work on Arthur Ransome's Swallows and Amazons series.
Today, Studio Posti continues to collaborate with a wide range of clients on projects ranging from advertising and editorial campaigns to product and packaging design, always maintaining a modern aesthetic with a timeless touch.
